I've been thinking about what to get everyone for Christmas. All of my grandkids have plenty of toys. In the past if I buy things without consulting their parents, chances are they already have it. I'm glad they have stuff, but how much do they really need?
My son's work has a program for employees to adopt a family for Christmas. The idea is to buy gifts for the kids and the adults and also provide a food basket. My son suggested that we spend the money that we would have spent on gifts for Richard to provide for a family in Richard's name.
